the squidro pattern

Finally i have decided to writer her on my blog.
the squidro  is a intruder style patterna but instead of marabou or ostrich it is tied with rubber legs. The man behind the pattern is scott howell how fishes steelheader right in to the bones.
So that is the squidro very simple explained.

Ofcourse so have I tied up som squidros i will show you guys 1 of my squidros wich i believe in here in my home waters Nissan for example. It is a Orange / olive tied on a weddington shank.

1: tie in a fireline or monoline in a loop thats is were you will put on the hook after you ready
2: Make a dubbing loop and dubb in sss orange in flames as a little boll, this will lift up your first couple of rubber legs.
3: Take 5 rubber legs  (sili legs olive/orange tip) and tie in above the fly, flip the fly and fold over the same rubber legs and tie in them again but this time on the underside and make sure that there are legs all the way around the shank. Should have the same lengh as the loop for the hook.
4: Now i tie in flatbraid in color gold and go forward to halv of the finish fly.
5: Tie in 5 rubber legs pointing forward towards the eye of the hook, do the same thing but under , the lengt should be a little longer the the rubber legs on the back on the fly,
6: Make a new dubbingloop behind the rubberlegs wich is pointing forward. and Dubb in SSS Nasty Rusty, build up a little ball then go through the rubber legs and fold them back soo the are pointing towards the hook.
7:  Tie in barbel eyes on the underside of the fly.
8: Make a new dubbing loop and dubb SSS nasty rusty like a chin
9: take super glue and finish the fly.
10: put on the hook I used a Mustad 92569CH size 4.
